Ready to start your journey to a stronger and more peaceful you but still have questions?
What is Reformer Pilates
Reformer Pilates is a form of Pilates exercises that uses a specialized machine called a reformer to assist and challenge your movements. The reformer uses springs, pulleys and a sliding carriage to create resistance, making exercises more effective in strengthening, lengthening and improving flexibility.
How long are the sessions?
Our Reformer and Physiotherapy Pilates sessions are 45 minutes long. This is an ideal duration to get a complete workout without feeling rushed, allowing you to focus on technique and achieve maximum benefits from each session.
What do I wear?
You'll be at your best in comfortable athletic clothing that can move and stretch with you. Footwear is not required for your session but regular socks or grip socks are mandatory. Bring some water to stay hydrated.
What is Physiotherapy Pilates?
Physiotherapy Pilates combines Pilates exercises with physiotherapy techniques to improve strength, flexibility, and posture. It’s often used for injury rehabilitation, pain management, and preventing future injuries, with exercises tailored to individual needs.
How do I book Physiotherapy Pilates?
Book a Pilates initial assessment with our Physiotherapist. Once assessed and a treatment plan is drafted, subsequent physiotherapy Pilates appointments can be booked.
Can I put Physiotherapy Pilates through my extended health care coverage?
Yes! Both the initial and subsequent appointments can be sent through to your EHC. We offer submission through most health care providers. We do suggest contacting your provider to see what your coverage is.
How much do sessions cost?
Reformer Pilates is $55 per session. Initial Physiotherapy Pilates assessments are $80. Subsequent physiotherapy Pilates appointments are $70.
How often should I do Pilates?
Everyone is different but we suggest one to two times per week. This is dependent on your personal goals and if you are seeing us for rehabilitation.
