Meet the Team

Lauren  Hastey

Hi! I'm the founder and instructor of Principle Pilates.

After a life altering back strain put my active lifestyle on the back burner, I turned to Pilates to help strengthen and rehabilitate my back. By utilizing the low impact, resistant training exercise routines, I repaired the damage and got back to my life. This grew into a deep passion for Pilates which grew into wanting to help others experience the power of mindful movement, strength and balance through reformer and mat Pilates.

My dedication to wellness and the transformative benefits of Pilates is at the core of everything I do here at Principle.

I look forward to sharing this journey with you!

Brooke Dumont, MScPT

Hi! I'm the founder and operator of Cutting Edge Physical Therapy.

I have been a Physiotherapist in the Niagara region for 9 years. I attended Queen’s University for my undergraduate degree and graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2011.
My long-standing passion for running has fueled my love in human movement and physical fitness.  I believe continuing education is an essential component to my physical therapy practice and I like to stay up to date on current practices. I utilize one-on-one, hands-on assessment and treatment techniques, while focusing on functional mobility and active rehabilitation.
